How I Made My First $100 Selling Printables Online (Beginner's Story + Tips)

Looking for a simple and low price to make money online? Share me with you how I earned my first $ 100 by selling print bals without being a design specialist or spending hours learning.

Whether you are a complete beginner or just curious, this story (plus tips!) Can help you start today.

What are printbals?

Printing material is digital files that people can download and print at home. These may include:

Employer and calendar

Budget track

Food planner

Work sheet for children

Wall art or quotes

Wedding invitation

They are easy to make, low costs to sell, and people prefer to buy them-specially on platforms such as Etsy and Gumroad.

Why did I choose to sell prints

I don't have a product to sell, it's not a big audience, and it's not a real website in the beginning.

A free Canva account

Some basic design meaning

A passion for organization and budget

I noticed that people bought budget printing as crazy on ETS. So I decided to try!

Step 1: Make my first printable

I started a little start. My first product was a monthly budget planner - something I really used myself.

I used Canva to design it. It was easy to pull and leave boxes, texts and icons. After 2 hours I had a clean, simple budget sheet.

Tip: Start with a product you want to use yourself. This makes the process easier and more authentic.

Step 2: Setting my shop

I don't have my own website, so I created a store on Etsy - it's one of the best places to sell printable.

What I did here:

Signed for an Etsy Seller account

Uploaded my product as pdf -file

Keywords such as "printable budget planner", "Money Tracker", etc. were added.

Posted a friendly product detail

A single cover image designed with Canva

Bonus tips: Use free tools like elvinatero.Store to detect digital sales ideas and equipment to develop your printable business.

Step 3: Campaign it online

First, no one bought my product.

So I went to Pinterest (yes, it's super underrated!) And made 3 sticks connecting your product. I also used the Canva template for this. I also shared a post on my little Instagram account.

For my surprise, after 3 days-cha-ching! - My first sale: $ 4.99.

Over the next two weeks I sold 22 more copies - everything from Pinterest and the jungle telegraph.

This is more than $ 100, just from a single printer!

I learned lessons (as you should know)

Keep it easy. Do not try to make a complete planner immediately. One or two sheets is enough to start.

Use free equipment. Canva, Etsy and Pinterest are preliminary friendly and free to use.

Be aware of quality. Even simple designs can sell if they are clean, useful and well presented.

Use SEO keywords. Add the search -friendly words to your title and tag. Example: "Printable monthly budget tracking pdf"

Don't give up. The first few days may be slow - but continue to market your product.

Do you want to start your own printable business?

If I can sell the first $ 100 a simple printable, you can.

Start small, keep learning and enjoying the process. Every dollar you earned from the product you made seems fantastic - and it just grows from there.
